No sin, no virtue, no anger, no sorrow,

Empty within,

Victim of mind games,

Reality suppressed, expression withheld,

Enslaved by uncertainty,

Veiled by darkness,

Entangled in unreal perceptions,

Why is there so much suffering?

When engulfed in that abyss,

What eases the burden?

A chant, a bhajan, divine contemplation,

Acknowledging impermanence,

Relief from the grip of fear's tendrils.
