The least I can muster is inaction,

Powerless against what I abhor,

When nature's rhythm is disrupted,

And humanity's harmony shattered.

When innocence is tainted,

And kindness overshadowed by commerce,

Selfishness reigns, humanity loses its way,

Ego storms, leaving savagery in its wake.

Knowledge usurps wisdom,

Softness, kindness, sympathy, empathy, replaced by antipathy.

Where lie the cherished values?

Where is the beauty that once graced us, shy and demure?

In the dust of this turmoil, I am but a whisper.
