Solitude's Divine Company

Solitude, for me, a multitude,

When all left, who stayed, strong and firm.

Bearing no prejudices, no ill will,

A true companion stood by me, clime, time, and grime.

Not a slime to abandon me mid-ocean,

Trampling on my feelings, unkind, cruel, and bitter.

Where have the lovely tunes shared disappeared,

In the macabre dance of interpretations?

You stayed behind, my friend, the solitude,

Like a rock you stood, saving my soul in tears.

Destinies upon destinies clash,

While you remain solid, unmoving when needed.
