One fallen to the floor, another withering away,
Under the scorching heat,
The body drying up, kapra drying too,
Once a sprawling kapra lake, now reduced to a trickle,
Bangalore grappling with water scarcity,
Is Hyderabad next in line?
Mindless structures, eyesores in the landscape,
Commercial establishments invading residential peace,
Water table plummeting,
Man-made disasters surpassing nature's fury.
Just an ambulance passed, its siren wailing,
An uncomfortable feeling lingers, a moment's unsettling,
Echoes of urgency, reminders of life's fragility,
In the face of the world's relentless hostility.
The relentless heat, discomfort, and parched earth,
Helpless beings resorting to poetry or vocal outbursts,
Yet, karma remains unchanged.
