Rarely do moments seem cherishable,
Yet, the looming spectre of their purposelessness upon departure,
For others, not partakers, intensifies.
Be content with the immediate, immerse fully,
For the next minute holds naught.
Happiness flows, unrelated to material or amusement,
An ineffable, transcendent essence.
No need for grand revelations or breakthroughs,
Occasionally drawn to life's pains and pangs,
A constant, unseen force pulls away,
No need for profound truths, remain afloat,
For the inevitable will come in due time.
