In the heat's relentless grasp, a vibrant lake once gleamed,

Now desolate, a heartbreaking scene it seemed.

All water drained, leaving just a patch,

How other creatures cope, a thought to dispatch.

They say nature's fury affects the human mind,

Behaviors twist, a strange new find.

Changes all around, changes within,

Amidst global animosity, where to begin?

Politics in turmoil, peace at risk,

Self-control wanes, a dangerous whisk.

Amidst the chaos, confusion swirls,

Yet all efforts seem to falter, in this chaotic world.
