The Brahma kamalam, brought from my chinnamma's house long ago by Sudha, seems to be making another attempt to bring out a flower. It's an annual ritual, and last time, just before fully breaking out, it collapsed. Now, from the stem, arises a tender shoot at the top. There's no clue if it's another spurt of leaf or a flower in the making. These plants certainly know how to maintain suspense and thrill. As of April 28th, 2024, let's wait and see. The scorching heat continues unabated.
